At the time of your FREE CONSULTATION, specific information will be given regarding your debt situation, your options for filing either a Chapter 7 and/or Chapter 13 case, and your final cost.
Chapter 7 case:
Filing fee (court's processing fee) $299.00
Attorney's fee $1,000.00
(exact fee will be determined at your free consultation)
Credit Counseling Fee $100.00
To Get Started: You must pay a deposit of $750.00; this deposit covers the filing, credit counseling and a portion of your attorney's fees. If you are unable to pay the full deposit at one time, you may make installment payments toward it until satisfied. Once your full deposit has paid, your case will be processed and filed with the Clerk. A 60-90 day payment arrangement can be made for your account balance.
Chapter 13 case:
Filing fee (court's processing fee) $274.00
Attorney's fee up to $3,750.00
(exact fee will be determined at your free consultation and is often less than $3,750.00)
Credit Counseling Fee $50.00
To Get Started: Many cases can be started
for $125.00 down, however, it is recommended that you pay the full
filing fee of $274.00 (There may be circumstances when more monies
are required to begin a case, for example, second/third filings,
or immediate foreclosures.) |
